چکیده

Abstract The composition and structure of asphalt mixture have a significant impact on its mechanical performance, the randomly distributed coarse aggregate impose stress state mortar. However, traditional method can only evaluate properties from macro scopic indexes, cannot show mortar in details. Therefore, based digital image processing technology, meso-finite element model is established, analyzed by using finite method. correlation between distance to established. Results that basically approaches external applied or zero when surface exceeds 4 mm. closer it surface, greater is. Under compressive conditions, will be affected tensile vertical direction, maximum about 0.2–0.25 times stress. results this paper good reference for explaining complex

Finite Element Simulation of Contact Mechanics of Cancer Cells in Manipulation Based on Atomic Force Microscopy

The theory of contact mechanics deals with stresses and deformations which arise when the surfaces of two solid bodies are brought into contact. In elastic deformation contact occurs over a finite area. A regular method for determining the dimensions of this area is Hertz Contact Model. Appearance of atomic force microscope results in introduction of Contact ...

Multigrid for the Mortar Finite Element Method

A multigrid technique for uniformly preconditioning linear systems arising from a mortar finite element discretization of second order elliptic boundary value problems is described and analyzed. These problems are posed on domains partitioned into subdomains, each of which is independently triangulated in a multilevel fashion. The multilevel mortar finite element spaces based on such triangulat...

Singular Function Enhanced Mortar Finite Element 477

We assume the function f ∈ L(Ω). We also assume the function u0 has an extension H(Ω), which we denote also by u0. We let the domain Ω to be the L-shaped domain in 2 with vertices V1 = {0, 0}, V2 = {1, 0}, V3 = {1, 1}, V4 = {−1, 1}, V5 = {−1,−1}, and V6 = {0,−1}. It is well-known that the solution u∗ of (1.1) does not necessarily belong to H(Ω) due to the nonconvexity of the domain Ω at the cor...

Singular Function Mortar Finite Element Methods

We consider the Poisson equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions on a polygonal domain with one reentrant corner. We introduce new nonconforming finite element discretizations based on mortar techniques and singular functions. The main idea introduced in this paper is the replacement of cut-off functions by mortar element techniques on the boundary of the domain. As advantages, the new discr...

A Multiscale Mortar Mixed Finite Element Method

We develop multiscale mortar mixed finite element discretizations for second order elliptic equations. The continuity of flux is imposed via a mortar finite element space on a coarse grid scale, while the equations in the coarse elements (or subdomains) are discretized on a fine grid scale. The polynomial degree of the mortar and subdomain approximation spaces may differ; in fact, the mortar sp...
